Odense

Odense Odense Odense a little town in Denmark on the Fynen island. The town is well known for the fairy tale writer Hans Christian Anderson. If you don’t know Hans Christian Anderson here is some of his information to read through. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Christian_Andersen Yes he is the writer of the Little mermaid, the tin Soldier, the ugly duckling and many more. But why is Odense known as the town of H.C. Anderson. At the young age of 14 he moved to Copenhagen. It is said that he disliked Odense and that is the reason he left but if this is true is not sure, just as his exact location where he was born, if we use our dear friend Google we find some different houses that he might have lived in, but which one is the real one?
Oké so now we know a little bit about the town. But what else? The students here like it even though the beer etc. is very expensive (25dkk for local beer (3,3 euro’s)). But they like it because lots of bars have something like free beer hours, it is the same beer as the festival beer in the Netherlands (beer + water = festival beer).

Yes those are indeed the the cardinal directions.
